Flash Fiction {Sebuah Penyesalan}

Pagi datang, kabut putih pun menyelimuti sepanjang jalan yang tengah ku lewati ini. Ini adalah hari pertamaku duduk di bangku SMA. Setelah beragam aktifitas yang ku jalani akhirnya aku dapat dengan lega memakai seragam putih abu-ku ini. Aku terus mengayuh sepedaku, sampai akhirnya aku tiba di depan gerbang sekolah. Pak satpam menyambutku dengan cengirannya. Murid-murid lain tampak berseliweran di sekelilingku, bahkan ada dari salah satu mereka yang menyapaku, ya mereka adalah teman baruku.

Aku memasuki ruang kelas yang masih kosong ini. Mencari tempat duduk yang paling nyaman saat belajar. Tiba-tiba terdengar derap langkah kaki yang menggema menuju kearahku. Aku mendongak, ternyata ada murid laki-laki yang datang. Tapi yang ada sedetik kemudian aku malah tertegun tak mampu bicara memandangnya. Laki-laki itu awalnya menunduk, mungkin merasa aku memperhatikannya ia kini mengalihkan pandangannya ke arahku. Dan reaksi yang ku temukan adalah...datar.

Ia kemudian berlalu dari hadapanku. Jangankan menyapa, tersenyum pun tidak.

“Raldy..”

Katakanlah aku bodoh, bahkan aku hanya mampu bergumam tanpa suara dan tak berniat untuk menyapanya.
